A few years ago, I had an amazing opportunity to attend a Women’s History Month event in downtown Atlanta that changed my life!
Picture being in a small venue filled with Women from all walks of life with the common purpose of learning how to thrive in business, when suddenly someone asks, “With all the wonderful things that Women can do, there still feels like there is a force holding us back! What is it? What is it?!!”
As you can imagine, this question sparked an interesting debate that harshly highlighted that despite Women’s successes in small business ownership, low self-esteem, negative self-talk, lack of self-care, abuse, inequality, sexism, classism and racism are dividing factors at play that may prevent Women from acquiring large enterprise ownership.
In the midst of this discussion, pressed in a small corner, my purpose, to help Women take the lid off of their capacity, was born. The only problem was learning that the lid of my own capacity had to be removed.
Through a series of losses, sudden disruptions and intense lessons learned, I discovered first-hand that LOVE is the catalyst that required me to:
Reclaim my sense of self and security.
Rebuild my world free from the trauma of my past.
Redevelop my mind and skillset with the knowledge, understanding and wisdom needed for my next big career adventure.
Re-energize the Leader within fully aware of my leadership superpowers and capacity.
Release the 2.0 version of the Woman I have become to affect change in my assigned domain of influence.
While forces of esteem and systematic oppressions has been problematic to Women’s progress, we, as Women, must settle accounts and reconcile the books of our own personal value through the effective power of Love. For, in its simplicity and majesty, Love empowers Women to lead! Love empowers Women to create! Love empowers Women to generate wealth in the fullness of our equality, purpose and our business!
For this cause, Teresa K. Page, LLC was established!
