Originally from Kentucky, I moved to Tennessee to obtain my degree in Business Marketing at Middle Tennessee State University. Shortly after graduating, my husband and I decided to transition to Georgia as the growing market was our desired place to be.

My knowledge of business marketing combined with over fifteen years of customer service and leadership will be the driving force when creating client relationships.

I have a work ethic that clients desire. My persistence, integrity, and hardwork to fulfill the needs of every client has been the distinguishing factor that sets me apart from the rest.

I currently service throughout North Atlanta Metro area including Alpharetta, Cumming, Buford, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Suwanee, and many surrounding cities in Gwinnett County.

About Desiree

I like to say that my real estate career started when I was 12 years old, because my mom was a Realtor. As a child there were many times when I went with her to visit properties and spent hours sitting on her office floor flipping thru huge MLS books (the size of phone books) looking at pictures of houses for sale.

Fast forward...I received my Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate from GSU and worked in commercial property management for several years. After the birth of my first child, I chose to become a stay-at- home mom. Soon afterwards my husband and I formed our own residential property management company.

I have been licensed in the State of Georgia since 1994 and I have worked in many different areas of real estate, residential and commercial. Including commercial and residential property management, lease management, leasing and sales.

I have done many partnerships with real estate investing and have helped other build wealth as investors. Currently, I work primarily with families in the process of a transition: such as Needing a bigger home, down-sizing, moving from another state, marriage, divorce and first time home purchase.

I feel fortunate that my job deals with something that I love!

Julie Zaruba Fountaine is the Founder of EMPOWER Possible, LLC, Adjunct Faculty at the University of Mary, and a Well-Being Specialist at Essentia Health. Julie received her B.A. in Exercise Science with a Spanish Minor from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, her M.S. in Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Science from North Dakota State University, and her MBA in Change and Leadership from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN.
